Gorons
Appearance:
Gorons are stout and muscular, standing between 5'4" and 7'0", with stone-like skin ranging in color from earthy browns to volcanic grays. Their bodies are rocky and resilient, with tough, calloused hands and feet. Gorons are often bald, with protrusions on their shoulders and back that resemble small boulders. Their eyes are typically dark, with deep-set, warm tones.
Lifespan: 100-150 years
Adulthood: Reached at 20-30 years
Traits:
Gorons have exceptional strength and resilience, able to withstand harsh environments such as volcanic heat and rocky terrain. They have an affinity for earth magic, often able to manipulate small stones and create minor tremors to defend themselves or aid in mining. Gorons are expert craftsmen, particularly in metalworking and stone carving, and are known for their hearty appetite and cheerful disposition.
Cultural Heritage:
Goron society revolves around mountain-based villages or volcanic regions, where they build sturdy, communal dwellings. Their culture emphasizes strength, honor, and camaraderie, with celebrations featuring feasts, rhythmic drumming, and competitive strength challenges. They value their connection to the earth, often referring to each other as “brothers” and “sisters” regardless of family ties.

They collaborate with other races to share building techniques and contribute to Hyrule’s infrastructure, crafting everything from protective walls to defensive armaments.
