The sun never sets in Death Mesa. It hangs directly overhead and goes through a cycle of being bright white-hot to dim cool-blue light. The inhabitants are all stuck here, and Sugar Skull City at the center is one of the few places where it is safe to live.

This campaign setting has guns, hover hot-rods, saguaros, and the most punk-rock gonzo encounters for twisted role-players. The party plays premade characters who are notorious degenerates in Sugar Skull City. They overhear a conversation about a large shipment of gold coming in the morning and decide to steal it. Having no idea which of the dangerous gang bosses they just stole from, the party must make alliances, hide, run, and fight if they want to keep their ill-gotten loot and their lives.
